Overview
Below is the day by day itinerary for the 9 day Lemosho route on Mount Kilimanjaro you can also do 6 Days. but it is not recommended.
The Lemosho route, which takes six days can be quite challenging because of its ascent. The second day involves a trek, from Forest Camp to Shira 2 which includes a gain in altitude of 3,000 feet. This increased elevation poses a risk of altitude sickness. On the day climbers will face a demanding trek from Barranco to Barafu followed by a summit on the fifth day. This portion of the journey requires effort as climbers will have to walk for 19 24 hours at elevation, with minimal rest breaks.
