Botswana Safari: Savuti & Chobe in 5 Days

You begin your journey with a flight from Kasane to Savuti Airstrip, where you will be met
and transferred to the lodge by a lodge representative.
Afternoon high tea is served, where you will meet your guide and fellow safari guests. The
game drive begins on a private road network and concludes at a scenic Baobab site with an
amazing African sunset. When you return to the lodge, dinner is served, and then it's off to
your big, comfortable bed.

Because you are staying at the lodge for at least two days, you have the option of spending the
entire day in the wilderness. Waterholes, marsh areas, baobab stretching points, riverside, and
grasslands are available throughout the day. There is also the chance to see some Bushmen
paintings found in the area. There will also be refreshment stops and a picnic lunch.
If you do not want to go on a full-day safari, there are other options. Do an early morning and
afternoon game drive, then spend the rest of the day at the lodge. Swim in the pool or get a
wellness treatment (cost not included). You can also sleep in and go on a late morning game
drive, which includes lunch at a thatched viewing deck and a late afternoon game drive.

After breakfast and after checking out, you will be driven to the Nogatsaa Pans Lodge, where
you will spend the next two nights relaxing in this remote location. Nogatsaa Pans Lodge is
located at Kwikamba Pan in Chobe National Park's Nogatsaa area, about 80 kilometers south
of the Chobe River.

A full day is required to explore this area. The Nogatsaa area is home to a swarm of natural
clay-bottom pans that fill during the rainy season. During the dry season, the pans are
replenished with water, relieving some of the wildlife pressure off the congested Chobe River
and allowing for some incredible game sightings. Enjoy a game drive in the morning and
evening, as well as some birdwatching and stargazing.

Following your morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kasane,
where your journey will come to an end. You can supplement this package with Kasane
extensions.
