Mikumi National Park
Trip Overview
Mikumi National Park is one of Africa’s most natural and untouched parks. It’s a stunning and lush expanse of land with unique wildlife and vegetation that makes visiting it feel like you’re entering another world. This National Park is one of a kind. The name means “beautiful view” in Swahili, and it certainly lives up to its name, with deep valleys stretching off into the distance as far as the eye can see. It spans over 6000 acres and includes sub-alpine forests and grasslands where herds of zebra’s graze peacefully while giraffes tower above them on long stilts at observation posts, keeping an eye out for predators.
