Itinerary
We will start our journey from either Moshi, Arusha or the airport (depending on your preference) towards Lake Manyara National Park in the morning. This captivating park is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. It boasts a range of species thanks, to its habitats. The shores of Lake Manyara are adorned with flamingos and the park is a haven for over four hundred bird species. You might also spot birds in this sanctuary. During our visit keep an eye out for wildlife such as Cape clawless otters, buffaloes, elephants, Egyptian mongooses, hippos, giraffes, impalas and lets not forget that Lake Manyara National Park has the concentration of baboons in the world! We’ll have a picnic lunch within the park and later in the afternoon continue to our accommodation.
We’ll head out to the Serengeti National Park after we finish breakfast. Along the way, there’s a chance we might spot some wildlife as we pass by the crater rim. The Serengeti is known as one of Africa’s seven wonders, which makes it more exciting to explore. We’ll take a break, for a picnic lunch on top of an outcrop called a kopje. After lunch, our game drive will continue deeper into the Serengeti allowing us to fully experience and appreciate everything it has to offer. Rest assured the Serengeti.
Our day will start in the heart of the Serengeti, where you’ll have the opportunity to admire the wildlife in the morning. This time of day is particularly fascinating as you can witness the food chain, in action. Predators roam around searching for their meal while hyenas fiercely compete for leftovers from nights hunt. Your guide will use tracks to help track down animals. The Serengeti is Tanzanias game reserve. Is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including African hedgehogs, leopards, hippos, buffalos, elephants, bush babies, wild dogs, lions, zebras, crocodiles, rhinos ants monkeys. Additionally migratory birds from Asia and Europe add to its ecosystem. The movement of herds and seasonal changes impact wildlife sightings. After enjoying lunch in the park we will make our way, to Ngorongoro. Reach Accommodation near the crater rim by afternoon. A delicious dinner will be served in the evening.
It’s really important that we leave the campsite early because that’s when we have the chance of spotting wildlife in the Ngorongoro Crater. We’ll have a picnic lunch, inside the crater. The crater used to be a volcano for millions of years and experts believe it would have been taller than Mount Kilimanjaro. The unique structure of the crater keeps animals within its walls, which is great for those who want to see all ‘the five’ and other fascinating species like zebras, hippos, wildebeests, and hyenas. The plant and animal life thriving in the crater is absolutely breathtaking making it truly deserving of being called ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden’. You’ll always find storks, geese, and flamingos, near Soda Lake. Your guide will use their skills to find animals for you. We’ll wrap up our game drive in the afternoon. Then head to Moshi. We can discuss transportation arrangements to the airport if needed.
