OVERVIEW
Lake Manyara National Park is a small park at the base of Rift Valley escarpment. Its groundwater forest is a welcome change from the more savannah-dominated parks. Although the park is well-known for its tree-climbing lions, up to 400 species of birds and other wildlife animal. Elephants are abundant and the main attraction.

You will drive to Lake Manyara National Park at 7:30hrs and begin your game drive in the late morning, which is the best time to see animals in this park. The Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon as you approach it from the east, providing an impressive backdrop to the lake. Monkeys leap from branch to branch in the tall trees of the ground water forest, and elephants rest in the shade on the escarpment. Zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and other animals are frequently seen. We’ll make our way back to the Karatu area for an overnight stay at respective accommodation. later in the afternoon.
