detail itinerary

Pick-up at 7:30 a.m., followed by a drive to Tarangire National Park and a picnic lunch. The rest of the day will be spent on a game drive. It is Tanzania’s sixth largest national park. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, inspired the park’s name. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem. The Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the migration of wildebeest and zebras over long distances. Thousands of animals congregate in the park during the dry season from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas. The Park is well-known for its dense population of elephants and baobab trees. Visitors to the park during the dry season (June to November) can expect to see large herds of zebra, wildebeest, and cape buffalo. Waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon are also common residents. When you arrive, relax at the respective hotel while a delicious hot dinner is prepared for you

We leave Tarangire National Park after breakfast, having collected our lunch boxes. Our journey takes us west and north, and our exciting destination is a name that everyone knows – the Serengeti! The sheer scale of the territory and the raw beauty of the landscapes reveal themselves along the way, and your driver-guide will assist you in spotting animals and birds. This is only a taste of what is to come, as the Serengeti is home to what is possibly the world’s greatest concentration of wildlife.
After a picnic lunch, you’ll be eager to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site for more great wildlife-spotting opportunities. Which creature will appear next in the grasslands, savannahs, woods, and mountain scenery? The ‘endless plains’ are home to elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippopotamuses, and crocodiles… the adventure has officially begun. It’s back to your chosen accommodation for dinner and to talk about the many fantastic experiences you’ve had today at the end of the afternoon, exhausted and exhilarated.

The Serengeti is well-known for its annual migration, which sees approximately six million hooves pound the open plains. More than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle accompany the wildebeest on their journey for new grazing. Even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti National Park offers some of the best game viewing in Africa. The Park is located in north-western Tanzania, bordered to the north by the Kenyan border, and shares the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is to the southeast of the park, Maswa Game Reserve is to the southwest, Ikorongo and Grumeti Game Reserves are to the west, and the Loliondo Game Control Area is to the northeast and east. These areas form part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem. When you arrive, relax at the respective hotel while a delicious hot dinner is prepared for you

With a population of less than 2,000 people, the Hadzabe are one of the last tribes to remain true to their tribal history. They exist much as they always have, far from the crowds and globalization that inevitably support tourism. The Hadzabe people live in caves near Lake Eyasi, and their isolation and small population size have allowed them to avoid the HIV epidemic and other diseases spread by intertribal marriages.
The Hadzabe language is a distinguishing feature of their culture. The Hadzabe language is an idiosyncratic click language. It is similar to that of the famous Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert. Despite this, and despite their similar physical appearances, DNA testing has revealed no links between the two groups.
