The personalized wildlife observing walking safari experience is the greatest luxury at Kennedy Seasonal Camp for wildlife observers. The Walking Safari Guide & HOST will meet and greet you at Victoria Falls International Airport. You will be driven to Hwange National Park in an air-conditioned vehicle for approximately 3 hours on tarred road. Along the way to Hwange National Park, you will pass through rural cultural villages, and we will stop to show you African mud and thatch huts so that you can interact for a few minutes with the friendly African people and learn about their simple way of life.

The Kennedy Seasonal Camp is conveniently located near waterholes that provide excellent wildlife encounters, often right on the camp’s doorstep. By walking and approaching on foot, you can get up close and personal with some of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife. Beyond the confines of the safari vehicle, walk and approach wildlife on foot to capture memories. During the walking safari, you will spend the majority of your time driving in an open safari vehicle, only getting out to walk, approach, and observe high-profile wildlife. The Walking Safari Guide and wildlife observers will step out of the open safari vehicle on multiple occasions to walk, approach, and observe high-profile mammals such as, but not limited to:
Loxodonta Africana (African Elephant), Africana Cape Buffalo – Synecerus Caffer, Lion – Panthera Leopard – Panthera Pardus, Cheetah – Acinonyx Jubatus, Hunting dog – Lycaon Pictus Spotted hyena – Crocuta

The magic of African Safari Walks is that they immerse wildlife observers in Hwange National Park’s 400 species of birds and 100 species of mammals, whether they’re walking and approaching a pride of lions at dawn break or sipping a G&T in camp at dusk. Everything good must come to an end. Today, you will be driven 3 hours from Hwange National Park to Victoria Falls in an air-conditioned vehicle, and we will bid you farewell as you board your flight back home through Victoria Falls International Airport.
