Late afternoon its time for check out from the Park and go back to the arranged accommodation.

After breakfast at the Lodge, we collect our picnic lunch box and depart Tarangire early in the morning for a short, pleasant drive to Lake Manyara. First and foremost, we spent the morning exploring the park’s stunning landscape, looking for wildlife on the plains, in the acacia woodlands, and along the shores of the shallow alkaline lake.
Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, but they’re far from the only attraction: by the end of an exciting afternoon, you could easily have seen elephant, hippo, wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffe, among many other species. Pink-hued flamingos are among the 400 bird species recorded here provide a splash of colour. It’s back to your respective accommodation at the end of the afternoon for some relaxation and a delicious dinner.

After breakfast, we pack our lunches and depart from Lake Manyara National Park. Our journey takes us west and north, and our exciting destination is a name that everyone knows – the Serengeti! The sheer scale of the territory and the raw beauty of the landscapes reveal themselves along the way, and your driver-guide will assist you in spotting animals and birds. This is only a taste of what is to come, as the Serengeti is home to what is possibly the world’s greatest concentration of wildlife.
After a picnic lunch, you’ll be eager to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site for more great wildlife-spotting opportunities. Which creature will appear next in the grasslands, savannahs, woods, and mountain scenery? The ‘endless plains’ are home to elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippopotamuses, and crocodiles… the adventure has officially begun. Late afternoon back to the respective accommodation for dinner and overnight, also to talk about the many fantastic experiences you’ve had today at the end of the afternoon, exhausted and exhilarated.
