4 Days Kenya Experience
OVERVIEW
This safari will allow you plenty of time to experience the wildlife and beauty of what is arguably the world’s best game park! The Masai Mara National Reserve is well-known for its spectacular displays of wildlife, scenery, and indigenous culture. You may say you’ve seen Africa once you’ve seen the Mara. The Great Migration takes place in the Masai Mara, when enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra cross the Savannah in an amazing display of nature.
detail itinerary
Our company representative will meet you at your hotel/airport, brief you, and then transport you to the Maasai Mara game reserve. Arrive and enjoy an enroute game drive through the vast plains as you make your way to the camp for check-in, lunch, and rest. After some rest, go on a game drive because it’s the best time to see the cats as they crawl out of their shadows, ready to make their next kill later in the day as the day comes to an end.
After breakfast, go on a game drive through the reserve. The reserve is considered Kenya’s prime wildlife area due to the acacia-dotted plain scenery of stunning beauty where black-maned lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and giraffes are found in abundance, as well as over 450 bird species such as the national bird of Kenya, the lilac breasted roller bird and other nocturnal birds, proceed to the mara river where you can expect to see crocodiles basking
A final game drive through the Rift Valley from the picturesque Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world’s greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a variety of animals to be encountered, including many large game animals such as zebras, elephants, and gazelles, and this is one of our best opportunities to see rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first to be designated as a rhino reserve in Kenya. This is one of the few places in the world where we can see Rothschild’s giraffes. Dinner and overnight at respective accommodation.
After breakfast, we spent the morning at Nakuru National Park game viewing, watching, and photographing birds. Leave for Nairobi, stopping for lunch and panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley along the way. After driving through lush Kikuyu farmland, arrive in Nairobi late in the afternoon. You will be taken to your hotel. This is one of the few locations where we can see the Rothschild giraffes.
